Anecdotally, the doctoring of photos and misleadingly editing video seems sharply on the rise. A number of high profile cases including the Jame O'Keefe and the Breitbart/Sherrod affairs are well known, but there's a feeling that lots of this slips under the radar.

At the moment, this site's an experiment to try and use the power of social networking to uncover a truth and correct the record. If we have success finding this woman and/or there's a generally interesting outcome to the experiment, then we'll look at next steps.
